Scotland’s largest brownfield site will see 2,500 homes and 155,000 sq.m of infrastructure ultimately delivered through a suite of complex planning applications.
- Major engineering infrastructure and site remediation are assimilated into a dynamic landscape framework using large scale structural earthworks and woodland planting. Existing trees are retained and new extensive woodland, grassland and wetland areas are developed.
- A series of new civic spaces connects development with the existing community and provides space for public events.
- Open water bodies create sustainable urban drainage (SUDS) and a comprehensive network of community pedestrian and cycle routes provide access across the site.
