Cass Associates appointed to develop a Neighbourhood Plan for Neston, Cheshire

Cass Associates has been commissioned as lead consultant and also to provide planning, graphic design and GIS mapping services for the project.

This involves working closely with members of the Council’s Community Steering Group to identify and understand the complex issues and evidence base, as well as significant research and analysis of the Cheshire West and Chester (CWAC) Core Strategy Local Plan evidence base.

Numerous meetings have already taken place with key stakeholders to identify their development requirements and how these may fit in to the NP.

The draft NP is currently being considered by the Community Steering Group and is to be ratified for public consultation by the Town Council by November 2014.

Throughout the process Cass Associates has worked closely with CWAC to establish a screening opinion for a Strategic Environmental Assessment and the scope of a Sustainability Appraisal.
