Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service has been granted planning permission for its new Headquarters building at Washington Hall, Chorley.
Cass Associates has provided architecture, planning and landscape architecture services to the project having originally been appointed following a competitive six-way bid.
The Cass team was also Lead Consultant in the concept design process, working alongside Booth King engineers, interior designers StudioF and Jenkins Design CDM consultants.
The new 3000m2 building will be built to BREEAM Very Good status and will include offices, a bespoke training and conference centre as well as a dining hall and catering facilities.
The concept design creates a distinctive bespoke building fully integrated with the adjoining open parkland.
