Planning and Listed Building Consent has been granted to redevelop this Grade 2 listed coach house as short-term residential accommodation.
Cass Associates continues its work at the Calderstones estate for client, the Reader Organisation, obtaining approval for 19-bed guest accommodation located in the former coach house. This facility will serve the proposed regeneration of the mansion house as an international centre for shared reading and will provide short-term accommodation for those attending events and courses.
Cass Associates is also developing proposals for a ‘Story Barn’ at Calderstones, designed specifically for the promotion of children’s reading and imagineering, and featuring interactive and immersive spaces.
Further proposals for the Mansion House itself are due to be submitted for planning and listed building consent early in 2015.
