Cass Associates has been appointed by Bellway Homes to lead a consultancy team in preparation for a planning application for the next stages of a major housing regeneration programme in Bootle, Merseyside.

The project involves the demolition of over 470 properties in a well-established urban community.  The land to be cleared will be redeveloped with modern housing at a lower density and a significant new area of open space.

The consultancy team is broadly based as there are environmental matters to address alongside planning, design and engineering issues.  Cass Associates is co-ordinating the input of many specialists as well as providing planning advice and the landscape design role.

This is an important project for both Bellway Homes and Sefton Council who are jointly involved in the progressive regeneration of this neighbourhood of Bootle.
