This Grade 2 listed Victorian Hebrew walled cemetery in inner-city Liverpool required restoration and the addition of new visitor facilities.
- The project included a new visitor, heritage and education facility, the refurbishment of the listed screen and boundary walls and new landscaping.
- We managed the planning and listed building consent process and also assisted with a Stage 2 HLF application.
- Sensitivity was essential when dealing with the heritage issues and working within an historic cemetery and the project included extensive public engagement.
