Cass Associates has been commissioned as architect and Contract Administrator for an extension to Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service Heritage Museum.

Work will begin in early 2015 on the extension, which will improve the visitor experience at this popular museum, located at Bridle Road, Bootle.

The project sees a 100% increase in capacity, creating additional exhibition space for vintage fire appliances and historical memorabilia.

At an adjacent site on Vesty Road, Cass Associates has been appointed to refurbish, re-organise and extend the existing fire service fleet maintenance unit with the creation of a new vehicle servicing building.
